Update of life and all it's randomness

Hey guys!

Well its been awhile and oh my goodness so much has happened! All good (i think). This will be just a total word and photo dump and then i will hopefully be back next wk with some bedroom inspo pics, life randomness and other fun things!

Well we went to fiji. Twice. Yep. The first trip was lovely, the weather was average which was so disappointing but i got to spend some time with my sister in law (yeah alex couldn't get the time off) and my little man. And the second time was the absolute bomb! Watching my best mate get married, being honoured the privelidge of signing the marriage certificate and taking some "unofficial" pics, spending time with not only my hunk of a hubby, my son, my parents and my best mates family and friends (whom some we knew and others we didn't, but we made new friends ;) ) It was by far one of the most relaxing holidays and it was just plain awesome-ness.

I did graduate (!!) but i didn't get a new grad. I was so bummed and really disappointed with myself, the three years i felt like i just wasted and the system. But do you know what? It was the biggest blessing in disguise. I know how a job, where i never thought i would like to work, with a great group of people, 5 mins down the road from home. Can i get a hell yeah?! It has worked out brilliantly. Oh and it isn't full time. Who am i kidding, i would die if i had to work full time.

And my baby started school. It is safe to say he loves it! And is doing much better than we anticipated (thanks to preschools recommendations and doubts).

Loves walking to the bus stop, but loves the bus more. Doesn't ever ask me to drive him to school :o

Oh yes, we had a run in with the coffee table a couple of weeks before school was to start. It was glued back together and you would never know he had a huge cut on his eye brow. Phew!

I seriously love the feeling of not having to worry about doing uni work or spending my time off doing an assignment or stressing about upcoming exams or placement. And being paid to work?! Oh my that was a novelty and it still is sinking in. And is totally awesome :D

This summer i am hoping to enjoy this beautiful area more, we have been able to do a lot more "fun" things. E.g bike rides after school/work, play dates, hanging out and just not having the stresses that uni brought along with it.

We are really enjoying where we are living (only has taken 7 years) but i for one am getting the craving for a new house/reno. I would love to build but i am not sure that would be the best move for us. Maybe we will get lucky and something will come up on our street which will be perfect for us and in our price range!

Until next time peeps!

x
